ABOUT
Dr. Jaehyun Park is a BIM Manager at Bechtel Corporation. He received his Ph.D. degree from the Lyles School of Civil Engineering at Purdue University. He holds M.S., B.S. (Architectural Engineering), and B.A. (Economics) degrees from Yonsei University, Korea. His research interests include developing methodologies for smart infrastructure and cities that can improve sustainability in the architectural, engineering, and construction (AEC) industries. Dr. Park's ultimate aim is to introduce various information technologies (ITs) (e.g., real-time location system [RTLS], internet of things [IoT], camera vision, human-computer interaction [HCI], 3D laser scanning, big data analysis, and machine learning) to the AEC industries to improve work productivity and efficiency.
